Meet Jeff Kayle, Founder
Jeff Kayle is the founder of Retiring on a Budget, a community built around seniors helping seniors live well without overspending.
The idea began after Jeff saw an older woman working in a local Oahu store because she needed the income to survive. He couldn’t stop thinking about her situation. The next day, while walking on the beach, he decided to create a place where older adults could find information, encouragement, and support. That idea became the Retiring on a Budget Facebook group, which welcomed 40 members on its first day.
Today, Jeff brings that same purpose to the website. He writes about saving money, Social Security, Medicare, senior benefits, scam prevention, affordable travel, and everyday retirement living.
Through articles, helpful resources, guest speakers, and community discussions, Jeff helps older adults discover practical ways to stretch their income and connect with others. His goal is simple: to help people enjoy retirement with more confidence, useful information, and a community that cares.
